The Horned One
The Horned One is based off of the Celtic God, Cernunnos - the God of Nature. He is often associated with both fertility and death. Although typically associated with a stag deer, Tone chose give The Horned One a skull of a bobcat and the association with it. The bobcat is a significant creature in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, representing patience and wisdom. The Horned One was the largest costume project for the production. Tone constructed the mask, horns, hood, and various accessories. The furs and jewelry were lended to the set by local mountain men. |
Trish's Goddess Costume
Trish's costume in the astral plan is based off of interpretations of the Mother Goddess or the Earth Goddess. Her costume was designed to blend into the scenery, while portraying a scene of elegance. This was the second largest costume build project of the production. The cap was patterned and sown by Tone. The moss covered jacket was also intricately constructed. |
