Concept -
This play is a modern take on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Tone choice to design using the metaphor of an ancient Chinese proverb that states an invisible thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The threat may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. For Tone, once a character reaches the Underworld, these threads become visible. Each character deals with the threads of their connections in different ways while some are even the spinners of these threads.
