Initial Concept 
Lady Crane was first developed as an interpretation of Tone as a superhero. Soon Lady Crane became her own character, Lili Thompson. This illustration was the first image of Lady Crane that launched a longer and perhaps lifelong project. 

Lady Crane is symbolized by a crane, a paper crane, and the moon, embodying feminine power, luck, and happiness. Lady Crane is a superhero who travels the world helping youth face their inner and outer demons.

The Gift 
This painting was a partial self-portrait as well as depiction of the character Lady Crane as she gives the gift of a paper crane. 
Lady Crane Costume Build 
Lady Crane's superhero costume was sourced from from existing pieces as well as having some builds like the cape and corset. The pattern and design came from the initial illustration of Lady Crane. The build was co-created by Tone and artist, Sally Eckert.
